Bit of a 'lastminute' decision.
Good signals from GM prior to and just at the start of the proceedings; as the sun came out the treatened rain, moving north, cut the rest of the country off! (Or so it seemed)
Tried with OZ3ZW early on, massive, (but too short) MS pings. Took a 'G' and a 'V' and maybe an 'F' but it was just too tenuous to persevere.
